Representatives of the Boundary Disc Sports Society attended the Phoenix Foundation Board meeting of June 17, 2026 to update directors on the success of their program. The Phoenix Foundation sponsored the group with a $700 donation to subsidize travel costs in the spring. The Foundations donation to the Society made if possible to reduce travel fees for all student athletes and enabled them to provide field food and first aid supplies to ensure that all players had the support they needed to perform at their best. The athletes favourite tournament fuel – GoGo Squeeze; they consumed nearly 400 apple sauce pouches over the course of the season! Thanks to the reduced travel costs, everyone on the team was given the opportunity to travel with their peers and to make lasting memories as part of their ultimate program. Phoenix Foundation Secretary-Treasurer, Xavier Nitti presented the Society with a $2,500 cheque to help support upcoming youth programs and teen coaches for summer programs.
