Grant Timeline

Each spring the Phoenix Foundation issues a call for Letters of Intent for organizations requiring funding for projects that will benefit residents of the Boundary communities.

The timeline below illustrates the steps applicants will follow during the granting process.

Eligibility Questionnaire

Applicants should use the Eligibility Questionnaire to determine if projects may qualify for funding.

Late February

Grant Information Session

Applicants are invited to attend an information session announced through local media and the News section of this website.

March 1-31st

Letter Of Intent

Applicants submit a Letter of Intent outlining their project and budget.

April 1-30th

Grant Application

Qualifying applicants will be invited to submit a formal Grant Application. Deadlines for submissions will be provided with invitations.

May-June

Application Review

Grant applications are reviewed to find candidates that best meet the criteria established by the Foundation for the year’s funding.

Grants Awarded

Selected grantees are notified and have 1 year from the date of grant award notification to complete their projects.

Grants Completed

Upon submission of a Final Report showing proof of project completion and costs, grant funds are released.
