Representatives of the Boundary Disc Sports Society attended the Phoenix Foundation Board meeting of June 17, 2026 to update directors on the success of their program. The Phoenix Foundation sponsored the group with a $700 donation to subsidize travel costs in the spring. Special olympics BC – Grand Forks

Special Olympics BC was presented a cheque in the amount of $4,200 by the Phoenix Foundation Secretary-Treasurer, Xavier Nitti at their year end barbeque yesterday in Grand Forks. The funds will go towards equipment and uniforms for the newly developed curling and floorball programs.
